Wall Murals: Peel-and-Stick Art for a Feature Wall

A mural is a print made for architecture
A wall mural is a single image printed in panels sized to your wall, then applied like wallpaper. Because it is scaled to the room rather than to a frame, it changes how the space reads: a low ceiling feels taller with a vertical image, and a narrow hallway gains depth from a scene that recedes.
Why peel-and-stick suits homes
Peel-and-stick mural material installs without paste and comes away without damaging the wall, which makes it practical in rented homes and in rooms that change. It also means a mural is not permanent — a bedroom can be re-done in an afternoon. The material is durable and easy to maintain, so a hallway or a kids' room can be wiped clean.
Choose an image that can survive being large
Not every photograph works at wall scale. Look for:
- A clear subject with room around it, so the image still reads from across the room.
- Soft transitions rather than fine detail, which disappears at scale.
- A horizon or a line that can sit at a comfortable height, usually near eye level.
- Personal meaning — a coastline you know, a path you have walked. Murals are lived with, and the image that matters to you will still matter in five years.
Sizing and preparation
We size the mural to the exact wall, including the awkward parts: switch plates, skirting, a doorway. Walls should be clean, dry and smooth, and the image should be sent at the highest resolution you have. If the file is not large enough for the wall, we will tell you before printing rather than after.
Where murals work best
Living rooms and bedrooms are the obvious choices, but murals also suit offices, kids' rooms and waiting areas, where a single image does the work of a whole décor scheme. See what we have produced in our portfolio, or read our guide to murals for business.
Start with your wall
